Class Descriptions :

Power Vinyasa Yoga : This style of yoga is usually rather fast paced and intense as it synchronizes breath and movement to increase core strength, muscular flexibility and blood circulation. Poses are strung together into cycles in a smooth way to cultivate body awareness and balance. Breathe, sweat and go with the flow!

Slow Vinyasa and Yin style : Slow Vinyasa Yoga is a modified of Power Vinyasa Yoga. It’s a gentle, nice and slow basic sequence. Yin yoga focuses mainly on the hips, pelvis, knees and lower back in order to increase joint range of motion, increase body awareness and learn to just let go. Through holding poses for longer periods of time connective tissue is stretched while chronic held tension is released. Relax and renew with this more passive style of yoga.

Tabata Yoga Workout : Tabata yoga is a style of yoga which combines yoga practice with an approach to exercise know as Tbabata. Which is to exercise for 30 seconds and rest for 10 seconds for 8 easy exercise x 3 or 4 times. It is good for strength and cardiovascular fitness, Exercises may include plank poses, push ups, squats, chair, lunges, crunch, boat.

Basic yoga (Beginners) : The basic yoga class introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work in a flow of postures linked together by the breath. Students will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on student understanding, safety, and stability within each pose. Gradually these poses will be linked together into a gentle flowing sequence. If you have never tried yoga this is the class for you, designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses. Students are welcome to repeat this class as often as they like.
